This is really exciting! Firstly, this is my first time to ride ATV (All-terrain Vehicle) plus I was experienced it during our Wedding Anniversary and lastly, it was here in the famous Mount Mayon Volcano in Legaspi City, Albay. Really exciting, right?

This is a safe activity I could say, because you will be given enough time to practice and familiarize the function of ATV. At first since that would be my first time (first time for all of us, I mean) I thought it was a hard-time-effort to do it, but obviously it was really not. I guess my ability to drive motorcycle helps me a lot. Trainers will teach you the basic and safe mode to drive ATV, plus an orientation on what to expect during the whole activity. Protected gears are well disseminated and they will not allow the group to start the ride not until one member is not confident to ride. So if one of your teams can’t catch up easily, you better leave behind them and start the journey (bwahahaha).

It wasn’t an easy-peasy ride I could say, especially if this is your first ATV experience. ATV in Mount Mayon is one of the highlights in visiting Albay. You need to keep going even if the roads you are into are difficult and unsteady. There were times that we need to pass it on to the river for us to continue the journey. There were also uphill rides that we need to surpass for us to glimpse the end point of Mt. Mayon. It was even raining during our visit so it was really a thrilling yet heart-pumping moment.
