Kamay Ni Hesus Shrine

Before, Lucban Quezon is famous for its annual Pahiyas Festival, which is held every May of the year. This is to commemorate St. Isidore the Laborer (the Farmer). Also, it is where Mt. Banahaw is situated which is considered to be as a holy ground of the people in Quezon province.

Although the above event and historical place are making Quezon province popularly known, I guess Kamay ni Hesus Shrine made it completely Quezon-province-popular on its finest especially during Holy week.

Kamay ni Hesus Shrine was built under the ought of Fr. Joseph Faller, he is known to be the healing-priest in Lucban Quezon. It is also known to be a healing center and this is where the healing mass is being conducted in the chapel every Wednesday and Saturdays at 9:30 am.

Kamay ni Hesus is a 5-hectare land surrounded with depict characters written in the holy bible in the form of statues. They were awesomely splayed everywhere inside the shrine. Life-size replicas of different characters in the bible (ex. Adan and Eve, Moises, Peter etc) Those replicas bestow the sanctity of the whole place, indeed.

One of the highlight activities that shouldn't be missed in visiting Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is climbing the 290++ steps going to the top of the hill where a 50-foot statue of the Ascending Christ was built. This is the status which can be seen miles away from the place and it is also considered one of the tallest statue ever made in the Philippines.
