Boracay Island

Boracay is one of those places I have wished to visit back when I was a kid. It was a dreamed I never thought can possibly became reality. Having been there, is such a pleasure that is really worth to be bragged about.

A superb moment when you shared with your loved ones.

and of course even more vivid when you experienced it with your special someone ♥

Boracay Island is separated from Panay by a narrow strait. The island is located opposite the Caticlan in the municipality of Malay, Aklan. So, you need to ride a boat across the strait to finally get into Boracay Island.

Although several versions exists about the origin of the name Boracay. This one is probably the most reliable and well known history of it. Boracay derives from the old local wordborac, meaning cotton. This is in reference to the white, cotton-like color and texture of Boracay's sand.

This is mom. We were actually having fun with the sands.
Another thing that amazed me in Boracay's sand is the fact that even the sun strikes the most it doesn't affect the temperature of the sand. It sustains its not-so-cold and not-so-hot temperature. That makes you really enjoy the sand even if the sun is beat up its heat, you don't need to have your sleepers with you to take around every corner of the island.

I really wanna go back to the Island of Boracay!!
